Noctua — Ephemeral Whispers

Story

What happens when we all stop dreaming?

Ereyan meets a long-lost friend, and through her rediscovers the life he long left behind. But this leaves him at a crossroads: should he continue to live a life of attachment to the ordinary world, or return to his long forsaken world of fantasies? This is a story about what happens to dreams that are left behind in our times.

Characters

Ereyan
A young man who is in his latter years of high school. He was once someone who held big dreams but has left them all behind in exchange of a firmer attachment with the real world. He plays the part of the skeptic and realist.
Celesta
A girl who held on to those notions of daydreams and fantasies. Ereyan once played make-believe with her when they were both children.
Persephone
A girl who represents those who forget how to dream. Although Ereyan doesn’t know her, she approaches him, one day, seeking his help.
